Whatever the reason, we're thrilled you're here!

Who We Are

We're the Filii Patris Sabbati Church of God, but you can call us FP7 for short. (Or FP7COG.) Our name translates to "Children of the Father Sabbath Church of God." We're all about family, faith, and fellowship. We believe that we're not just subjects of God, but His children, and that makes us family members. Every Saturday, we come together to worship Him and strengthen one another.

(Note: We are not affiliated with any other "Church of God" you may know of. It was just the most descriptive. We debated Filii Patris Sabbati Ecclesia, but that was just too much Latin!)

What We Believe

Our beliefs are rooted in the Bible. We believe in the eternal truths it holds and the guidance it provides, and we believe it is sufficient for those purposes. Here's a quick rundown of some of our doctrines:

• The Bible: It's God's inspired message to us, a trustworthy guide for our lives.
• God: There is One God, existing in three distinct but co-equal Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
• The Sabbath: We observe the seventh day as a sacred day of rest and worship, given to all at Creation.
• Death & Resurrection: Death is the consequence of sin, and the dead await resurrection at Christ's coming.
• Salvation: Jesus lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and freely offers salvation to all who believe in Him.
• The Church: We're the body of Christ, a community of believers with a mission to spread His love and message.

As a newly formed church — and we hope, eventually, a denomination — we're in the exciting phase of laying our foundation. And guess what? We need you! Here's what we're looking for:

• Ministry Leaders: Got a gift for teaching, music, outreach, or youth ministry? Let's chat!
• Volunteers: From setting up for services to community outreach, and so much more, there's definitely a place for everyone to serve.
• Family: Not the leader or volunteer type? That's ok! Come, fellowship with us, sing, listen, pray, and join our family. All are welcome.
