We are working to grow our church as directed in Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15.
To that end, this website is something of a guidebook for FP7COG beliefs. It is dense with information, but we want you to have everything you need in order to get to know us, and so you can decide whether to join us. And while this site covers the essentials, our wiki provides even more information. (As we grow, our web presence will improve, but for now, we have authors, not web designers.)
As you will see on this page, we have a membership process of a sort. It will have to do until we can either develop a better online solution or obtain a physical location. In the meantime, we can gather virtually, as there is but one Holy Spirit in whom we can become as one body. (1 Corinthians 12:13 — Ephesians 4:4-6)
We are so pleased that you would consider becoming a part of our spiritual community. Our church, though still in its foundational stages, offers a clear set of beliefs, and is built on the principles of love, kindness, and communal growth. We believe in fostering a nurturing environment where each member contributes to and benefits from the shared spiritual journey. (Romans 12:4-5)
We are still establishing our formal operational processes. Meanwhile, we have a simple, yet meaningful, approach to welcoming new members.
Here are the steps:
The first step is showing interest (Revelation 3:20), which you've already done by being here and reading this. Welcome!
Reach out to us via our contact form. Please include your real email address. Share a little bit about yourself, why you're interested in our community, why you'd like to become a member, and any questions or concerns you may have. We value open dialogue and would love to get to know you better and for you to know us better. (James 1:19)
Engage (Matthew 18:20) with our virtual or (as available) physical gatherings. This will help you get a better understanding of our community, our practices, and our shared values. You can also join our forum and communicate with the membership at large.
After a period of participation and communication, if you feel that our community aligns with your spiritual path, then we can initiate the process to have you officially become a member of our church community. (Acts 2:47)
See this page for more information.
Though our processes might not yet be as formalized as other institutions, we believe this approach reflects our commitment to genuine, meaningful connections and shared spiritual growth.
We look forward to hearing from you and hope to soon welcome you to our community.
If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.
