A church is a community of believers. Among other things, it serves to encourage and comfort its members as they face the rigors of life and the challenges of faith.
It's also crucial for a church to engage with communities that exists beyond its walls. Jesus commanded us to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20), meaning we must go out and show His love and compassion to all people.
We can start by reaching out to those immediately outside our walls, physical and otherwise. Engaging with the local community allows the church to be a beacon of light, transforming lives and communities. It creates an opportunity to build relationships and demonstrate Christ's love practically.
By reaching out, we have the potential to make a significant impact and spread the ripple of change far beyond our walls. So let us go out and share the love of Christ, showing the hope and healing that can only be found in Him.
Are you searching for a spiritual home where you can connect with a loving, supportive church family? (Hebrews 10:24-25)
Look no further!
We'd like to extend a heartfelt invitation for you to come and get to know us. Our church is a place where everyone is welcome, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. (Galatians 3:28)
At our church, we celebrate the seventh-day Sabbath and embrace the life-changing teachings of the Gospel. We're all about creating an uplifting, friendly atmosphere where you can grow in faith, find unity, and feel included. So, whether you're new to the area or just seeking a fresh start, we'd be honored to have you join us and discover the warmth of our fellowship.
Does your church seem to care more about what the church says than what the Bible says?
As part of our faith, we hold to the practice of Sola Scriptura, which means that we consider the Bible as the primary and ultimate source of truth for Christian doctrine and practice. We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired and provides all that is necessary for salvation (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and living a life in accordance with God's will. Therefore, we hold the authority of the Bible above any other source of authority, including self-ordained prophets, tradition, or the teachings of any church.
By following the doctrine of Sola Scriptura, we seek to uphold the clarity and sufficiency of the Bible in guiding our lives as Christians and to guard against the possibility of error and corruption in other sources of authority by testing all doctrine (Acts 17:10-12) against the scriptures. As a result, we never have to wonder: Who says so, and by what authority? For by prayer and study and the power of the Holy Spirit, we know to Whom we listen.
If you're a fellow Sabbath keeper (Exodus 20:8-10) who might be feeling a bit dissatisfied with your current church, do not fall away (Hebrews 10:25). We invite you to explore our beliefs and see if our church family could be the spiritual home you've been seeking. We focus on the core beliefs that unite us, cherishing the beauty and wisdom of Sabbath-keeping traditions, while embracing the teachings of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26), and the love of our Heavenly Father.
We believe that our love for God transcends and can mend any differences in scriptural interpretations. (Ephesians 4:2-3) We're committed to fostering an environment of harmony, understanding, and spiritual growth. (Romans 14:19) So, if you're looking for a community that values unity of faith and study, inclusivity of background, and a shared devotion to God, we encourage you to come and experience the warmth and joy of our church family.
We extend an invitation to join our weekly events and special activities. It is a fantastic way to boost spiritual, mental, and physical health and well-being. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
By regularly "hanging out" with our church family, we build a strong sense of belonging and togetherness, which helps us grow in faith and get closer to God. (Acts 2:46-47) Sharing our ups and downs, laughter and tears, and experiences and challenges, with our fellow believers gives us the support and encouragement we need to stay positive and mentally healthy. (Galatians 6:2)
Plus, these get-togethers often involve some fun physical activities, whether it's through social events or helping out in the community, which keeps us active and feeling great. These outward expressions of our faith serve to also strengthen our faith. (James 2:14-17) In the end, staying involved in our church community helps us live happier, more balanced lives.
Not a member? Come, join us anyway! God welcomes you and so will we. (Romans 15:7)
